1914 The Carol of Christmas - CD Art - FrontOur end-of-year musical adventure … in late October our long-term pal and songwriter extraordinaire Chris Eaton presented a song he wrote in commemoration of WW1 to the RAF Benevolent Fund. They loved it and a plan was hatched to put it out for Christmas to raise funds for the 3 main services charities – RAFBF, RNRMC and ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. There was no label as such, just the team at the charity, renowned plugger Jeff Chegwin and Distribution. The end result … appearances on BBC Breakfast and Sky News; all over BBC Radio 2 (B List then A List) and BBC radio and TV regionally; #1 iTunes Christmas songs; 140,000 YouTube views; and £££s and profile raised for the best possible cause. It just shows what a great song and a small bunch of totally committed individuals can achieve. Here ya go –…/1914-carol-christmas…/id944235108

Moxie_Field3The Adventure Travel Trade Association has used Moxie‘s music in 5 of the films in their Ireland Is An Adventure series. Those crazy Moxsters dip their toes into 2015 with their debut appearance at Celtic Connections, Glasgow on 24th January. Then it’s off for a 3-week run of shows in Austria. We say make a date to see a young band on its way to greatness.
