ARTIST SPOTLIGHT:
Unidentified Flying Project

Unidentified Flying Project by Simon Wood Harris is a collaboration between one songwriter and a collective of some of the world’s greatest musicians.

While songwriter Wood Harris put pen to paper over the years, he dreamed of exactly which musician might work for each part of every song he wrote; he has dedicated the past decade to turning that vision into a reality, curating a team of world class musicians carefully selected for each song, bringing them together in a studio and watching how each song unfolds.

Unidentified Flying Project is a celebration of collaboration, masterful songwriting and musicianship; Wood Harris wrote an album of songs and created an evolving supergroup of musicians to bring them to like, including the likes of Pino Palladino (John Mayer, Jeff Beck, D’Angelo, Phil Collins, Richard Ashcroft, Adele, David Gilmour); Dave Weckl (Chick Corea, Paul Simon, Madonna, Michael Brecker, George Benson); Omar Hakim (Miles Davis, David Bowie, Sting, Weather Report, Kate Bush, Dire Straits, Peter Gabriel); Spencer Cozens (John Martyn, Joan Armatrading); Keith Carlock (Steely Dan); Rob Mullarkey (Stormzy, Jacob Collier, Laura Mvula, Sia, Quincy Jones).

Their debut single, There is a Dream, is out on all platforms on Thursday 5th November.
