Mike Lindup - Beyond Words - Exclusive Tour Vinyl [PRE-ORDER]

Beyond Words is a solo piano album from Mike Lindup, recorded on a remarkable 1928 Steinway grand piano with a unique history.

The album takes its inspiration from the landscapes, changing seasons and personal memories that have shaped Mike's life and music. Through a collection of intimate piano compositions, he explores the feelings and emotions that can be difficult to express in words, from the stillness of a landscape to the longing for someone far away.

At the heart of the record is the story of The Soldier's Steinway, a piano originally purchased by a former WWII serviceman, George Morfee, using his demobilisation payment. Having survived a devastating warehouse fire during its restoration in 2017, the instrument was painstakingly brought back to life over the following seven years. Mike's personal connection to the piano stretches back decades, making its rediscovery particularly meaningful.

Recorded at Little Wolf Studios in June 2026, Beyond Words captures the warmth, resonance and character of this extraordinary instrument.

Presented on black vinyl in a beautifully designed gatefold sleeve, featuring Mike's own landscape photography and artwork by Stylorouge.
